말해 뭐해 그랬니 어쨌니
malhae mwohae geuraetni eojjaetni
What’s the point of saying this? I did this and that

또 입방아에 들썩 온종일 난리 법석
tto ipbangae deulsseok onjongil nanri beopseok
I’ve been gossiped about again, everyone is making a fuss all day long

애써 아니라고 말하기도 애석
aesseo anirago malhagido aeseok
It’s a pity to say it’s not

너만 빼고 다 아는데 너 그거 몰라 맞아 난 말이야
neoman ppaego da aneunde neo geugeo molla maja nan mariya
Everyone but you know it, you don’t know it, do you? Well I’m…

분위기가 좋아 그렇다면 Okay (okay)
bunwigiga joha geureohdamyeon Okay (okay)
Because if the mood is good, I’m okay (okay)

가루가 되도록 터는 것도 Okay
garuga doedorok teoneun geotdo Okay
If I’m criticized until I crumble to dust, I’m okay

뭐라고 뭘 하고 다녀도 You know I’m okay
mworago mwol hago danyeodo You know I’m okay
What? No matter what you’re doing, you know I’m okay

알잖아요 난 Naughty but 아니에요 날라리*
aljanhayo nan Naughty but anieyo nallari*
You know I’m naughty but I’m not lalalay*

맞으면 뭐 어쩔 건데 (hey!)
majeumyeon mwo eojjeol geonde (hey!)
If I am, what are you gonna do about it? (hey!)

Ah~ha yeah 날라라라라라라라라라라리**

나 몰라라 너 몰라라
na mollara neo mollara
They don’t care, you don’t care

다 몰려와 어디에 또 (어디에 또) 재밌는 거 없나
da mollyeowa eodie tto (eodie tto) jaemitneun geo eoptna
Everyone is coming in flocks (everyone), is there anything fun?

벌떼처럼 Wing Wing 그럴수록 Win Win
beolttecheoreom Wing Wing geureolsurok Win Win
Like a swarm of bees wing wing, the more they do win win

난 날이 선 칼날 위에 피리 부는 조그마한 Captain
nan nari seon kalnal wie piri buneun jogeumahan Captain
I’m a small pied piper captain on a sharp knife

You ready Get ready 난 여기서만 날라리 Now
you ready get ready nan yeogiseoman nallari Now
You ready, get ready, I’m lalalay only here now

분위기가 좋아 그렇다면 Okay (okay)
bunwigiga joha geureohdamyeon Okay (okay)
Because if the mood is good, I’m okay (okay)

가루가 되도록 터는 것도 Okay
garuga doedorok teoneun geotdo Okay
If I’m criticized until I crumble to dust, I’m okay

뭐라고 뭘 하고 다녀도 You know I’m okay
mworago mwol hago danyeodo You know I’m okay
What? No matter what you’re doing, you know I’m okay

알잖아요 난 Naughty but 아니에요 날라리
aljanhayo nan Naughty but anieyo nallari
You know I’m naughty but I’m not lalalay

맞으면 뭐 어쩔 건데 (hey!)

*날라리 = “‘nallari’ (날라리) is a Korean word used to describe people who try to act cool, usually teenagers. They’re partying and doing things that all the bad kids do. It’s usually used in a negative way but it can be used also in a friendly manner depending on the context. The closest English equivalente would be “party bitch”, though “nallari” is not as vulgar of a word nor gender specific.
**날라리 = “In this song, “nallari” has three different meanings. The first being the most literal, the “party bitch”. […] Second, we have the word referring to the Taepyungso (태평소), which is a traditional wind instrument that originated from the Korean dynasty of Korea. You can hear the very instrument very clearly in the chorus. […] Last, the word “nal-la” (날라) means to fly in Korean, and the word “nallari” shares two out of three syllables with “nalla” […], this coincides with the images of butterflies that can be seen throughout the music video.
